Subject to amending the finishing time to 1.45pm, the minutes of the meeting held on 13 October 2023 were confirmed as a true record and signed by the Chair.

To consider excluding the public from the meeting during consideration of the remaining item in accordance with Paragraphs 1 and 2 of Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 on the basis that, having regard to all the circumstances, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

Resolved to exclude the public from the meeting during consideration of the remaining item in accordance with Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972, under Schedule 12A, Part 1, Paragraphs 1 and 2, on the basis that, having regard to all the circumstances, the public interest in maintaining an exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

Candidates were assessed and interviewed for the post of Assistant Chief Fire Officer.

Resolved to recommend to the Full Fire and Rescue Authority that Michael Sharman be appointed to the post of Assistant Chief Fire Officer.
