Purpose of committee
The Children and Young People Scrutiny Committee provides robust scrutiny of issues relevant to the wellbeing and safeguarding of children and young people.
The Committee is made up of 9 non-executive councillors appointed to reflect the political balance of the Council and meets 6 times a year.
