The Committee agreed the minutes of the meeting held on 05 March 2019 as a correct record and they were signed by the Chair.

To consider excluding the public from the meeting during consideration of the remaining item(s) in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 on the basis that, having regard to all the circumstances, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

Report of Director of HR and Customer

Ian Curryer, Chief Executive, and Richard Henderson, Director of HR and Customer, presented the report, which detailed Phase One of a Management Review.

RESOLVED

(1)  to approve recommendations 1 to 3 as per the report;

(2)  in respect of recommendation 4:

(i)  to request that the Director of HR and Customer submits further information to the Chair, including any financial implications of the proposal;

(ii)  to delegate authority to the Chair, in consultation with the Vice-Chair and Opposition Spokesperson, to make a final decision in relation to the role of the Deputy Chief Executive.
