Police and Community Protection updates

Minutes:

The Committee received updates from Inspectors Fenwick and English and Sergeant Wealthall (Nottinghamshire Police), and from Senior Community Protection Officer Kooner.

 

Resolved to note the updates and thank the Police and Community Protection representatives for their work in the local areas and their attendance at this meeting.

Nicky Brake, Area Housing Manager, presented the report, which provided updates on key issues and themes linked to local priorities and the strategic themes for Nottingham City Homes, including the following key themes:

 

  Capital Programme and major work;

  area regeneration and environmental issues;

  key messages from the Tenant and Leasehold Congress;

  Tenant and Residents Associations;

  area performance;

  good news stories and positive publicity.

Michelle Graley and Leigh Plant, Neighbourhood Development Officers, presented the report, which updated the Committee on current priorities and issues facing the wards, forthcoming events and activities, the latest issues now being addressed through regular Neighbourhood Action Team (NAT) meetings and the latest position in respect of the Area Partnership Hub.
