Reason for urgency: The item could not be included on the 28 Day Notice because there is an urgent need to allocate and approve the grant, to ensure the staffing and non-staffing resources are in place to effectively mitigate against and manage local outbreaks of COVID-19. Whilst the incidence rate in Nottingham is currently relatively low, as seen elsewhere localised spikes can occur at any time and escalate rapidly. If resources are not in place to quickly and effectively respond it could have serious negative consequences for the health of Nottingham citizens and the local economy
