Councillor Pavlos Kotsonis

Pavlos is now representing Lenton and Wollaton East for his second term as councillor. He is really passionate about addressing residents’ concerns and helping and participating in local events and activities. He is proud about having set up the Vyronas-Nottingham friendship agreement and is passionate about cultural diplomacy as a way to promote education and international cooperation.

Pavlos was born in a suburb of Athens, Greece; he attended the normal music high school of Pallini district, studied Mathematics in Glasgow University, Chinese at Nankai University in Tianjin and has completed a Masters of International Political Economy and Development with distinction at the University of Birmingham. He has also been a trustee of the City of Nottingham Historic Building Ltd and the Lenton Centre as well as a governor in Southwold School.
