Subject to removal of the duplicated attendance of Councillor Webster, the Committee agreed the minutes of the meeting held on 19 February 2021 as a correct record and they were signed by the Chair.

Report of Strategic Director for Neighbourhood Services

Nigel Hallam, Workplace Parking Levy Service Manager, presented the report, which detailed proposed increases in the Workplace Parking Charge City and Neighbourhood rates (a full list of the current and proposed charges for each was contained within the report).

Resolved to approve an increase, effective from 01 April 2021, to the:

1)  Workplace Parking Charge City rates by 0.9%, in line with the annual Workplace Parking Levy Retail Price Index increase;

2)  Workplace Parking Charge Neighbourhood rate from 1.28% to 1.29%, in line with 0.9% annual Workplace Parking Levy Retail Price Index increase.

To consider excluding the public from the meeting during consideration of the remaining item in accordance with Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972, on the basis that having regard to all the circumstances, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information

Resolved to exclude the public from the meeting during consideration of the remaining item in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 on the basis that, having regard to all the circumstances, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighed the public interest in disclosing the information, as defined in Paragraphs 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act.
