Film classifications - Jewish film festival PDF 139 KB Report of Director of Community Protection Additional documents:
Minutes: Prior to consideration of the item, Councillor Khalil, who was in attendance at the meeting, was informed by the Chair that although he is a member of the Committee, as he had not been present at the film viewings earlier in the day he could not take any part in either the discussion or the vote.
The Committee considered a report of the Director of Community Protection, requesting the Committee’s recommendations in regards to the admission of children to two screenings, at the Broadway Cinema, 14-18 Broad Street, Nottingham, NG1 3AL, of the following films:
· ‘The man in the basement’ – on Sunday 13 November 2022; · ‘Who’s afraid of Jewish humour’ – on Sunday 20 November 2022.
Members viewed both films prior to the meeting and discussed an appropriate rating for each, having regard to the current BBFC Guidance.
RESOLVED that the Committee recommends a ‘15’ classification for each of the films ‘The man in the basement’ and ‘Who’s afraid of Jewish humour’. |
