Minutes:

Antony Dixon, Strategic Commissioning Manager, presented the report of the Assistant Chief Executive seeking approval for an in year reallocation of 2015/16 Better Care Fund (BCF) funding in order to ensure delivery of key BCF metrics and further the delivery of integrated care in the city. Antony highlighted the following:

(a)  the realignment of funds from the Independent Pathway NCC Reablement scheme is due to a failure to recruit for this service and hence a move to more long-term care. This is why the resources are being realigned to Coordinated Care;

(b)  the realignment of funds from 7 day working to programme management is required as further programme management resource is required. The level of resource is this is area is currently low compared to other authorities and the high staff turnover is resulting in a lack of consistency in this area;

(c)  the Community Psychiatric Nurses in Neighbourhood Teams is a new scheme that was due to begin in 2016/17. However this early funding will fund the gap in services which has been identified at an earlier stage with a one-of realignment of funding.

RESOLVED to approve the realignment of NHS Nottingham City Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Nottingham City Council schemes to reflect 2015/16 finalised contract values and activity level as detailed below:
