The City of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire
Economic Prosperity Committee is a joint executive committee of
Nottingham City Council, Nottinghamshire County Council and all
district councils in Nottinghamshire.
It is established to bring those local authorities together to
agree and promote the key aspects of economic prosperity across the
area, with a specific focus on shared priorities and securing
investment.
The Committee is made up of one executive
councillor from each local authority.
Meetings are held in various locations across Nottingham and
Nottinghamshire, and the chairing and administration of the
Committee alternates between Nottingham City Council and
Nottinghamshire County Council every two years.
