Committee details

The Special Licensing Panel is set up by the Licensing Committee to determine particularly contentious or sensitive applications for licences (usually for alcohol or gambling), or to determine a review of a licence (if there have been issues at the venue).  The Panel is normally made up of the chairs of the 2 Licensing Panels plus 1 other member of Licensing Committee.

Meetings are open to the public.
