The business is urgent and cannot be deferred because in order for the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy to release the additional funding the Council has to ensure that it is able to start transferring the grant funding to successful local authorities from the middle of July 2022. The Council needs to put measures in place to start distributing funding within the required timescales.

The meeting is urgent and the business cannot be deferred becaus at its meeting on 22nd June the Committee decided that the National Ice Centre should be the focus for the next meeting rather than the planned company, and its work programme was amended accordingly.
