The existing contract to operate the
Nottingham e-scooter trial is due to expire at the end of May 2024
in line with the current trial expiry date set out by Department
for Transport(DfT). The purpose of this report is to secure
approval to retender with a view to securing a Concessionaire who
will work with the council to operate a long-term scheme that will
cover any extended trial period and a transition period whilst
legislation is being passed.
