Reason for urgency:
The item could not be included on a 28 Day Notice because as of yet formal notification of the grant has yet to be received but the Councils indicative allocation for 2025-26 is £6-7M based on previous calculations. The programme must commence with the start of the new financial year and in order to enable this to happen, a decision must be made urgently to accept the grant and approve the delivery programme.
