By virtue of paragraph(s) 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.
Information relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information).
It is not in the public interest to disclose this information because it contains information relating to the strategic management of the Council’s Investment Portfolio and in particular contains commercially sensitive information relating to lease renewals, lettings and disposals. Having regard to all the circumstances, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information. It is not in the public interest to disclose this information because disclosure of the information will compromise the Council’s negotiation strategy in the event of a lease renewal, letting or disposal and this may adversely impact the revenue/capital the Council could receive.
