APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF SEX ESTABLISHMENT LICENCE: PRIVATE SHOP, 81-85 UPPER PARLIAMENT STREET PDF 3 MB Report of Corporate Director of Communities Minutes: The Committee considered a report of the Corporate Director of Communities regarding an application for the renewal of a Sex Establishment Licence for the premises known as Private Shop, 81-85 Upper Parliament Street. Mr Mason and Ms Singleton (Managing Director and Licensing Administrator respectively of the applicant company, Darker Enterprises Limited) accepted the Committee’s invitation to attend the meeting. Mr Sullivan (Management Consultant and representative of darker Enterprises Limited) presented the application and summarised the professional expertise of the applicant company and the fact that since moving into the current premises in 2004 there has been no complaints from members of the public or the Police. Mr Sullivan and Mr Mason answered questions from the Committee. RESOLVED to grant the renewal of the Sex Establishment Licence for the premises known as Private Shop, 81-85 Upper Parliament Street, subject to the Council’s standard conditions of licence and the existing special condition.
