Councillor Saj Ahmad

Saj Ahmad is a public servant who has worked for the NHS for nearly a decade. She currently works in Cyber Security, supporting our health service to prevent and manage cyber attacks from hostile nations and actors. Saj is a long-standing community activist, and was named as one of the most influential BAME people working in health, as a result of her campaigning work to support Muslim women working in the NHS and social care. Saj also sits on the Executive Committee of the Managers in Partnership Union, representing NHS staff and negotiating for better pay and conditions. She is also a passionate environmentalist and naturalist, with a keen interest in local bio-diversity.
