Sana was born in Hyson Green and Arboretum and is a local activist for her community. Sana is a proud trade unionist and currently an Equalities Officer for her Unite the Union branch. Sana is a feminist activist and works to empower women through education and the provision of leadership roles by providing support, training, and education. Sana regularly volunteers at her local foodbank and with Salaam Shalom Kitchen in Hyson Green teaching isolation and food poverty.
