Councillor Naim Salim

Naim was born and raised in inner-city Nottingham, working and spending his youth in Hyson Green and Arboretum which has given him a strong connection with the area. Naim is passionate about socialism and workers’ rights. After graduation, Naim worked with a Hyson Green based charity supporting orphans, provision of education, food poverty and social and economic mobility. Naim is currently a grassroots activist in the voluntary sector and works with an organisation delivering basic skills and employment opportunities to local Nottingham residents.
