Councillor Naim Salim

Working and spending my youth in Hyson Green and Arboretum has given me a strong connection with the area. I was born and raised in inner-city Nottingham and am passionate about socialism and workers’ rights.

After graduation I worked with a Hyson Green based charity supporting orphans, provision of education, food poverty and social and economic mobility. I am currently a grassroots activist in the voluntary sector and work with an organisation delivering basic skills and employment opportunities to local Nottingham residents.
